New France

New France was the territory in North America extending from the St. Lawrence River to the great lakes and down the Mississippi River system controlled and settled by France before the British won control in 1763. After this, part of the area became known as Quebec and other parts of Canada and the United States. In this site, we will give you some information on New France, we have pages on how Jean Talon (intendant of New France) could increase self-suffenciency, plans to stimulate the economy, picture galleries, what Jean Talon might have written to the King to ask for more funding, information on the current state of the colony, a guestbook so people can give their opinions about the website and we also have fun and games if you ever get tired of reading the text and if there is a problem on our site, you can contact us and we will fix it ASAP.

We have learned many things that will help our knowledge in the future while doing this project, such as how to present graphs, many facts and statistics about New France, and we also learned how to work with a website builder. We, Eunice, Ema, Eric, and Naomi, had a lot of fun while accomplishing the task of making this website. So, we hope to do a similar project again, and we also hope that you have enjoyed our work as well.
